Hi – Oi – Hola – Ciao – Salut - 你好
I just got back from Chicago and that was one of the most amazing experiences I’ve had in my professional life. It felt like I had died and been sent to ESL (English as a Second Language) teachers’ paradise.
As I mentioned last week, I went to the TESOL convention. For an ESL teacher, that is one of the most important events. I met professionals from all over the world and it’s very reassuring to know I’ve chosen the right profession and that, after 18 years, I’m still very excited about it and eager to learn new things.
The focuses of TESOL sessions this year were online teaching, collaborative web work and teaching refugees. I was happy to find out that Post University courses are very updated with what is going on in the market, and that I can make a difference helping people through my profession.
That was a JOY!!
Hi. I'm Raquel Poteet, an ESL and Spanish teacher. My calling is definitely teaching. That's why I decided to further my education. I'm enrolled in my TESOL M. Ed. program at Post University and loving it!
